I'm a 76-year-old woman who has a good-sized yard broken up by garden beds, and trees. Electric mower conked out so bought this one in hopes it would cut my lawn (front and back) on one charge. First, so far as the battery life, it's fine. My cutting area is over 2000 sf and I have yet to run out of battery. And it's really not too poorly made. Everything fits, even though the manual stinks, and things seem to roll along nicely. And it is lightweight and pretty agile .... but.

The cutting blade may be 15 inches wide, but the actual effective cutting width is about 12 inches, so be prepared for a dizzying experience.

We recently moved to a new house and thought it might be time to upgrade our mower that was handed down to us 10 years ago. We have been using the Epic 21" self-propelled mower for about 2 months now and we (my wife and I) love it. We mow over one acre of land with lots of bumps, hazards, and small hills. I have used everything to mow this yard...including a 4 hp gas pushmower (3-4 hours, lots of pollution), an old riding mower (1-2 hours, even more pollution), and 2 different manual reel mowers (8-10 hours, no pollution). The Epic is my favorite, hands-down.

I am so happy with this product, it is all it is advertised to be and more. I have a larger then usual yard and it cuts on one charge and there is plenty of power leftover. Just to make sure, I cut my yard when it was wet and then went across the street and cut my sisters yard and could have cut more. I've used the EP21H four times now and really like it. It has plenty of power to go up hills. The adjustable speed is nice. It also comes in the mulching mode. All I had to do was take it out of the box, tighten a couple of srews and charge the batteries and I was ready to mow. The only draw back is that the run time isn't as long as I would like, but than again, I knew it ran on a battery and that my yard was a little larger than what Epic said could be mowed in one charge. I was totally psyched to get a 'green' mower, but my heart was broken! The assembly is shoddy. The lower handle was improperly punched and didn't match the keyed bolt so handle did not mount properly. Once charged the mower would not run for more than a minute or two. It seemed to bind up and shut off like a safety mechanism sensed something wrong as soon as it moved. After 2 phone calls, disassembly, reassembly and all sorts of machinations,I was forced to return it.

I actually have owned the Neuton CE 6.2 model for over one season. The Neuton CE 6.3 is this year's model.

This is an excellent battery powered mower. It is very light without the battery, and it is around 70 lbs with the battery installed.

The mower is very quiet and is about as loud as a cooling fan. There are little to no vibrations from the motor, which is a huge positive for people like me who have issues with holding vibrating tools for long periods of time.

When I first received my Neuton last season, I was a little disappointed because the key kept popping out and the mower lacked some power. Terrific product. I love it. Got two batteries with it, but have never had to use two in order to finish my lawn. I'm using it on mulching mode and feel very good about that rather than putting clippings into the city's garbage. I have good luck with it as long as I don't try to rush. I have owned this mower for over a year now. I have two large lawns including an area for my dog run which gets high sometimes because I don't mow every week.
